Position Overview:

EmpowerRD is seeking a Client Onboarding Manager with a background in R&D tax credit. The client Onboarding Manager will lead the effective implementation of our onboarding strategy, ensuring our clients can seamlessly adopt and benefit from our R&D funding solutions. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on our operations and client experience, under the direct supervision of the Head of SMB Success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the EmpowerRD client onboarding strategy and accelerating the client’s adoption of EmpowerRD’s R&D claims product.
  • Utilise your R&D tax credit experience to manage a comprehensive onboarding process, ensuring new and renewing clients receive a meticulously planned programme that outlines clear objectives, timelines, and procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding phase, setting realistic expectations, aligning on goals, managing timelines, and providing consistent updates.
  • Build implementation strategies to ensure clients are onboarded within the defined SLAs. Coordinate communication with other areas of the business to ensure a streamlined approach for every client.
  • Handle multiple projects concurrently, prioritising business outcomes, client satisfaction, and the integrity of technical solutions.
  • Ensure a smooth transition of accounts to the Delivery Team
  • Contribute to company-wide initiatives aimed at refining processes, with an eye for automation and scalable improvements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in R&D tax credit, preferably within a client-facing role.
  • Technical R&D scheme knowledge
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage expectations and deliver projects within tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative spirit, capable of working across different teams to achieve a unified client experience.
